Title: Fairbanks, Alaska Empty Bowls

The goal of our project was to make one bowl to represent every student in our school to sell at our Empty Bowls event to raise funds for the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
On the night of our event, it was minus 30F. We sold 364 of the 460 we had available for the sale. We have donated over $2500 so far.
We were featured in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner on November 30,2009 in the Youth section. This can be viewed on-line.
