Description:
I will be offering an Empty Bowl project assignment to my Grade 11 Art students at the Glenelg School of Abu Dhabi here in the United Arab Emirates. We have 5 girls participating. The bowls will be made of paper mache and decorated using contemporary and traditional images, designs and calligraphy. When finished they will be displayed and sold – all funds given to the Red Crescent organization to feed earthquake victims in Haiti.
