Students, faculty, and community members are invited to participate in this event in a number of ways:

1) Grab your student organization, coworkers, and friends to participate in the CanSculpture contest. Your creations will be judged by a distinguished panel to win prizes! All cans from the sculptures will be donated to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. Registration is required for participation in this event (Please see attachment for registration form).

2) The campus community is also invited to the Empty Bowls simulated soup kitchen — $1 for soup, $5 for soup in a commemorative bowl with all proceeds benefiting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia.

This is a great way to display your commitment to fighting hunger in Hampton Roads.

So collect your friends, coworkers, cans and donations and get creative! HELP FIGHT HUNGER NOW!
