To Benefit the Edwards Street Fellowship Center

This event will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2012 beginning at 6:00pm at Main Street Books located in Historic Downtown Hattiesburg. All bowls will sell for $20.00 each (which includes soup, bread, dessert and a beverage). Proceeds of the fundraiser will go to The Edwards Street Fellowship Center.

What do you do at an Empty Bowls Fundraising Event?
 guests chose a bowl of their liking;
 pay for the bowl;
 volunteers wash the bowl;
 then filled with soup made and contributed by local restaurants; and
 at the end of the evening guests are asked to keep a bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.

We are also asking for local potters to donate hand thrown or handmade bowls to help us reach our goal of 200 bowls. If you would like to donate a bowl/s, contact Diane Shepherd at Main Street Books, 601.594.6960 or email her at hattiesburgbooks@aol.com for more information.
